Community News:

Spring 2008 Pimmit Hills Dispatch (.pdf) You may be wondering why you received your Dispatch so late--a week after the March 4 meeting with Supervisor John Foust that the newsletter announces. We emailed the Dispatch on Feburary 9 to the printer/mailer company we use, VIA-Mailing & Printing of Alexandria, Va. Unfortunately, due to their technical problems, they were very late in getting the Dispatch to the Post Office. We have expressed our displeasure with this situation, are asking for a refund of the money we spent, and will be using a more efficient printer/mailer in the future. We're sorry you received the newsletter after the March 4 meeting instead of the intended before the March 4 meeting.

Fairfax County is undertaking a countywide effort to crack down on illegal boarding houses. The county’s zoning ordinance says: No more than four unrelated people may live in a house.  Make a complaint if you know about an overcrowded, illegal house. The teams will investigate and take action as appropriate. (Be sure to pick “Too Many Families/Too Many People” when making a complaint.)
